Malioboro is the name of a street in Yogyakarta which has a length of no more than 2 km. malioboro said to be the heart of the city of Yogyakarta as government, business and cultural tourism. Malioboro Yogyakarta is located the north palace. there are some historic places on this road including the fortress Vredeburg, Tugu Station, the Great House and Beringharjo market. Malioboro famous as a tourist shopping and culinary tours. Lots of vendors selling there. They trade Yogjakarta typical souvenirs, among other things Imitation Key Chain leather crafts, batik, silver, bamboo, rattan, and other leather bags, leather shoes, leather puppets, keychains, silver spoons, blangkon batik (shaped similar to a typical hat Yogyakarta / Java) , t-shirts, batik shirt with various models / writing and also from imported and local goods, from daily necessities to electronics goods, furniture and so forth.
